Slow Food Gardens: Eat It to Save It!

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 2 @ 5:30 PM:
Mara Welton, Slow Food USA State Governor of Vermont and former owner of Half Pint Farm, shares her garden wisdom and decade-long experience with Slow Food. Join us for a harvest potluck and conversation about the history of the global and local Slow Food movement. Mara will share the stories of some of Vermont's heirloom seeds and breeds that are on the Slow Food Ark of Taste catalog of rare heirloom varieties. Come celebrate the good, clean and fair work of Slow Food while sharing the harvest potluck-style!

Beverages and reusable plates, cutlery and glasses will be provided. Seating is limited, so please contact Margaret Woodruff (425-3864 or margaret@charlottepubliclibrary.org) to register for this event. A Charlotte Seed Library Event.
