Come to a Workshop on Modern Wood Heat
Want to stack less wood? Or are you interested in switching to a heating fuel that saves you money, supports local businesses, and is good for the environment? Learn more by joining Emma Hanson, Wood Energy Coordinator at the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation, for a presentation on how you can opt out of fossil fuels or swap your existing wood or pellet stove for a newer one, and the state incentives that are available to help. Her presentation will include a brief overview of all the wood heating options available plus time for Q+A. This workshop is being held at the Jaquith Library on October 9 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm and is sponsored by the RAMP Energy Task Force.
