Dear Neighbors,
Your NPA Steering Committee has another GREAT AGENDA for the October meeting, this Thursday, October 3.
From 6 to 6:30, we will have another awesome COMMUNITY DINNER of chicken parmesan, ziti, bread, and salad. Come early and spend some time connecting with your neighbors.
Following a public comment period, the NPA has an exciting agenda filled with information about some important projects and initiatives:
*****CITY WIDE PROPERTY REAPPRAISAL: John Vickery from the Assessor's Office has the details on the state-ordered re-appraisal of all properties to establish more accurate values for taxation. THIS REAPPRAISAL WILL EFFECT ALL PROPERTIES; THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO ASK QUESTIONS AND FIND OUT HOW THIS WILL EFFECT YOU.
*****SHELBURNE STREET ROUNDABOUT: We have Mike LaCroix of the VT Agency of Transportation who is the Project Manager of this State project along with DPW Director Chapin Spencer and staff joining us to update us on the project. I have put this in my blue newsletter each quarter - now it the chance to hear from the source at the State level.
*****CHAMPLAIN PARKWAY: Chapin Spencer will provide an update on this long-term project and Tony Redington of the Pine Street Coalition will share his concerns about the Parkway design.
Mark your calendars for THURSDAY, OCTOBER 3 BEGINNING AT 6PM. Great FOOD, great NEIGHBORS and an important and informative AGENDA.
See you there!
My best,
Karen
