Rich four-part vocal harmonies wrap around activist lyrics, backed by guitars, violin, trumpet and tribal percussion. The sound is playful, creative and clear as a bell. Since forming nearly a decade ago, Kolonien has toured the globe, picking up new sounds along the way. You can hear the influence of time spent in Tanzania, Cyprus, Israel/Palestine, the British Isles and all of Europe. They've been named Sweden's "Best Young Folk Act" and "Best Upcoming Act of the Year.
