This week! On Wednesday, October 2nd beginning at 6 pm, we invite author Lindsey Stoddard to the Brookfield Old Town Hall. Lindsey's first book, Just Like Jackie, has been nominated for the Dorothy Canfield Fisher award, as one of 30 books on what is known as "Dorothy's List," recognized to be best books for students in grades 4-8 for the 2019-20 school year. Lindsey will be speaking about how she got her start in being a writer along with reading from one of her published books. Families are especially welcome to join in for this wonderful opportunity to get a book signed and to speak to a published author! Lindsey's books will be available to purchase at the event. NOTE: We will have heat, so don't let dipping temps keep you away!
