We have served our Valley towns of Newfane, Brookline, Townshend, Jamaica and Wardsboro through our club's initiatives of vision, hunger, environment, higher education and diabetes awareness.

Most recently we have provided for free new prescription eyeglasses, recycle eyeglasses to help fund "River Blindness", food drives to help replenish the food pantries, created & hosted the West River Valley Green Up Day Celebration, provided $3,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors from Leland & Gray and so much more for fifty years. The Lions Club traditional had been a men's club, but have been accepting women into their club for many years. Last year our International President was a women from Denmark, this year learn more about our newly elected President Dr. Jung-Yul Choi: https://lionsclubs.org/en/discover-our-clubs/presidential-theme

Come join us to help in serving our neighbors and friends through hard times and good times! Kindness matters - When caring people join together, roll up their sleeves and take action to make their community better, it's a beautiful thing—and an incredible feeling for everyone involved. That's Lions. Being a Lion is about leading by example, building relationships and improving the world through kindness. It's 1.4 million caring men and women serving together so they can make a lasting impact and change more lives.

All residents of the service towns 18 years and older are invited to join. Membership is for local, state, country and international clubs.

We currently have a table top display at the Newfane People's United Bank where you can find additional information, too!

Looking forward to meeting you on Tuesday, October 8 at 6 pm!
