Come join the Green Mountain Club's Sterling Section for our final work trip of the year! The Sterling Section maintains the Long Trail and its side trails from Chilcoot Pass to the Lamoille River. Next weekend, October 5-6, we'll be fixing tread and drainage on Whiteface Trail above Beaver Meadow, digging new waterbars or repairing old ones to help direct water off the trail. Anyone interested can stay at Beaver Meadow Lodge on Saturday night (dinner is included), and we'll tackle a few more treadwork projects on Whiteface Sunday morning.
