The Greater Greensboro Community Visit continues this Wednesday, October 2 at 6:30 PM at the Lakeview Elementary School.
At our August meeting, community members voted on priority initiatives for the villages of Greensboro and Greensboro Bend. These are: Build Community Wastewater Infrastructure, Improve Community Walkability and Bike-ability, Address Water Quality and Lake Protection, and Improve Broadband and Cell Service.
On Wednesday, task forces will hold their first meetings to begin creating actions plans for these initiatives and, together with a team of federal, state, business, and non-profit leaders, work to identify the next steps and available resources.
All community members are invited and encouraged to attend. Interested in this opportunity to strengthen our community, but you haven't signed up for a task force yet? No worries - new task force volunteers are welcome to join on Wednesday.
We look forward to seeing you at Lakeview on Wednesday, October 2 at 6:30.
