CALVIN COOLIDGE: VERMONT IS A STATE I LOVE

Join us for the Lamoille Valley Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) on October 2nd at 1:30pm to hear Tracy Messer's first-person portrayal of Calvin Coolidge. His presentation will be held at the Commodores Inn on Route 100 in Stowe VT.
Tracy W. Messer of Peterborough, NH has been sharing his love of history with people of all ages throughout the course of his personal and professional life. After graduating from Dickinson College with a double-major in Psychology and Spanish, Tracy received his master's degree in Counseling from Colgate University and then his Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) working in both the high-technology and healthcare fields. In addition to portraying Calvin Coolidge, Tracy is the founder of Time Travel Tours, a new business that develops self-guided local history tours for mobile devices.
It was in September 1928 that President Coolidge delivered his eloquent impromptu speech after touring Vermont by train to see the recovery efforts following the devastating floods of 1927. In honor of its 90 th anniversary, Tracy Messer will explain how the world came to know the "brave little state of Vermont" through his first-person portrayal of our 30th President of the United States.
Fall Series membership is $30. Individual tickets for one lecture is $5. Refreshments will follow the presentation.
