NVU is offering a 16-hour NOLS Wilderness Medicine course on November 9-10. Students at NVU can also earn 1 credit towards their degree. Participants will get a Wilderness First Aid certification card valid for 2 years. Wilderness First Aid is a two-day introduction to general medical concepts and basic life support skills. It is targeted to the outdoor enthusiast on day trips or short adventures, no experience is needed. The course will be taught in Johnson at NVU.
