Join us for the 11th Annual Vermont Pumpkin Chuckin' Festival on Sunday, September 29th from 11:00am - 4:00pm at the Stoweflake Resort & Spa in Stowe, VT. Awarded Top Fall Festival in the nation by USA Today, the festival celebrates the sport of "chuckin'" pumpkins, for distance, using do-it-yourself trebuchet (gravity powered catapults). There will be three rounds of competitive chuckin' at 12:30pm, 1:30pm and 2:30pm, with awards shortly thereafter. Not only will pumpkins be flyin', there will be live music from House Dunn and John Smyth, chili-cookoff competition, children's activities and food/drink sold by Stoweflake. Admission to the festival is $10 (children under 4 are free). The event benefits the Clarina Howard Nichols Center. Founded in 1981, the Center works to end domestic and sexual violence in Lamoille County. For more information or to register your catapult: http://vtpumpkinchuckin.blogspot.com/
