Washington County Mental Health Services, Vermont Care Partners and Lawson's Finest Liquids are sponsoring a free screening of the movie, The Ripple Effect, at the Barre Opera House on Wednesday September 25th with the movie starting at 6:30. There will be a question & answer to follow the film with Mary Moulton, Executive Director of WCMHS, and others.
The film chronicles the story of Kevin Hines, who at age 19 attempted to take his life by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. Since then, Kevin has been on a mission to use his story and to help others stay alive and find recovery.
WCMHS is showing the film in recognition of September being Suicide Prevention Awareness month. Please come join us for this important movie and discussion.
