Discover the Bliss Pond Town Forest and Share in Planning Its Future!
Saturday, October 5, 9:30 a.m. Park and meet at the Old West Church,
758 Old W. Church Road, Calais

For its annual Fall Foliage event, this year the Calais Conservation Commission is hosting a discovery walk in the Bliss Pond Town Forest. It will be led by Calais resident and the State of Vermont's Natural Community Ecologist Eric Sorensen, a renowned authority on the ecology of Vermont forests. We invite Calais residents and the general public to join Eric and members of the Conservation Commission in exploring the beauty and variety of the town forest and in beginning a town-wide public discussion about what its future should be. We especially encourage folks to come who have never visited the forest before.

We have one favor to ask of you. Although many of us love to share the trails in the town forest with our dogs, for this event only we will leave our pups at home and we would ask that you do so as well. Thanks!
