Believe it or not, it's almost that time of year again!

The Randolph Recreation Department is calling out to creative artists, crafters and builders in Vermont who share a passion for the holiday season to register an entry into this years Winter Lights Parade.

Individuals are welcome to walk in the parade in a lighted holiday costume, do performance art, showcase life-size puppets, enter festively decorated animals – large or small – as long as they are comfortable with crowds, or create brightly-lit floats. We simply request that you keep your design to a holiday or solstice-based theme that is appropriate for all ages and abide by the safety regulations laid out by the Recreational Department which are available on the event website. Participants will be eligible for monetary prizes in the following three categories: (a) animals; (b) firetrucks; and (c) floats. First prize winners in each category will receive $100 and second place winners will receive $50.

The registration and sponsorship forms are now available on our website randolphwinterlights.com and at the Town Hall.

Registrations must be completed by Friday, November 22. The parade is scheduled for Saturday, December 7th at 5 pm. Thank you and we hope to see you in the parade!
