WE CELEBRATE DEMOCRACY / CIVIL RIGHTS FOR ALL BANNER AT THE WILLIAMSVILLE PO

We will raise the 25'x3' CIVIL RIGHTS FOR ALL main street banner at the Williamsville Post Office on Sunday, September 29th, at 4 pm. Rain date 10/6.

We will bring the banner to the post office at 4 pm. We will set it up together, and then pose for the camera while holding the banner up in front of the PO. It will take less than an hour.

We will use the postcard image to show people standing up for democracy: We will make postcards of the image, and they will be available to all residents and participants. We will send copies to local media. We hope to make a wall calendar of images of people standing with the banner. The cost will be around $25 with We Celebrate Democracy / Civil Rights For All getting $5.

We Fly the banner over Main Street in Brattleboro on 5 holiday weeks each year.

We carry the banner in the Strolling of the Heifers parade and the 4th of July parade.

We do these banner raisings to show a new way for us to stand up for our rights as citizens. A good time way, a positive way, a fun way, a way that welcomes people. I call it "the peaceful revolution".
