Walking to Water: Contemplation and Poetry

Past event
Sep 24, 2019, 10 AM to 12 PM

"Knowing that you love the earth changes you, activates you to defend and protect and celebrate. But when you feel that the earth loves you in return, that feeling transforms the relationship from a one-way street into a sacred bond." ~Robin Wall Kimmerer.
Join us for a contemplative forest walk, meditation, and some poetry for feeling more deeply our intricate connections to the forests and waters that run through the land and our beings. We will offer gratitude to the natural world for all it gives us, and will in turn open ourselves to the energy of the forests and rivers that want to nourish us back. Location: Spirit in Nature, Goshen Rd, Ripton.
A free event, co-sponsored by Spirit in Nature and 350 Vermont as part of Climate Action Week (Sept. 20-27th). To register, email Susan at sjefts@gmail.com or Ron at ron.slabaugh@gmail.com
