Over the past five years the Peacham Café has gone from a new-fangled idea to an integral part of Peacham. The Café is a business that is supported by a non-profit parent; we keep the rent as low as possible, maintain the building and equipment, and help with promotion.

For the third year running under the management of our Operators, Crystal Lapierre and Shannon Pelletier, the Café is stable and running a small profit. But it's clear that the Café needs support beyond just its customers, and will continue to do so.

So we invite all friends of the Café to an informational meeting and discussion, at 4 PM on Sunday, September 22, at the Café. We'll provide munchies. At the meeting we'll bring people up to date on our five years of progress, talk about how important the Cafe to them, and consider starting a "Friends of the Cafe".
