Halloween candy and decorations have been out in the stores for well over a month, so it's about time we start planning our Trunk or Treat at Camp Meade. October 31 falls on a Thursday, a school night, so we'll run 5:30 to 7:00, make sure the trick or treaters get home in time for a good night's sleep. Oh, and the parents too.

We had an enthusiastic group of trunkers and tricksters last year despite the somewhat wet conditions. But let's face it, when candy is involved, there's no stopping us!!

If you love Halloween but don't have young kids to take out, or like me, live where no one comes to trick or treat, this event is for you. Bring your vehicle down to Camp Meade, open your trunk, and get ready!! For the little tricksters and their parents, it's an "instant neighborhood". No worry of kids crossing the rode, no parking problems, worry-free trick-or-treating!!!
