Monkton residents are invited to participate in a presentation and community conversation to help steer the renewed design process for a new Town Hall on the beautiful 5-acre property we own on Monkton Ridge. Chris Huston and Leah McGavern of Bellwether Architects will start by sharing a short visual presentation of the preliminary work and site analysis they have already completed. Then you will have the opportunity to share your ideas, questions and concerns, to help ensure that we end up with a design that a majority of our voters will support.

Many of you have already suggested creative ideas to the Municipal Building Committee for how a new facility could function not only as better town offices and library, but also as a community space where we can gather for a variety of purposes. Please join us this coming Thursday, September 26 at 6:00 p.m. at the Monkton Central School, to help create a shared vision of what this new facility can or should be. Pizza and beverages will be provided. Mark your calendar now!
