Guided Meditation for Pain Management, Wednesday, October 9, 1:00-3:00 at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 108 School St, Bennington. Meditation has been clinically proven to help manage chronic pain and discomfort. We will practice meditation techniques with a focus on managing and coping with chronic pain, and talk about our experiences. This workshop is appropriate for people with little to no experience with meditation; or if you have knowledge and practice with using meditation or mindfulness for pain relief/management, please come and share. Presented by VCIL's Lynn Mazza. Events are free, registration is required to ensure enough materials and seating. Participation is open to people with disabilities, their caregivers and allies.
