Join 16-year-old Climate Activist, Greta Thunberg, and other children (and adults!) around the world to rise up to protect our planet and our future!
Parents must submit notes excusing children from school if they want to participate. This is not a walk-out nor a JES sponsored or sanctioned event.
All children must be attended by an adult -- exceptions made if you arrange in advance to have another adult watch your child.
1 PM start place: Outside the JES gate next to the playground on School St. Shortly after 1pm, we will start walking over to the Village Green area to hold a short rally.
We want to keep this a kid-oriented event, but don't want to deter people who don't have kids from coming. If you don't have kids, please feel free to join us. It will be great to have more adults to help out and standing in solidarity!
Snacks and drinks will be provided.
The Studio Store will provide art supplies for sign making.
Any age welcome!
