Pomfret poet Laura Foley will read poems from her newest collection at the Abbott Memorial Library Sunday, Oct. 6th, at 3:30. Why I Never Finished My Dissertation is packed with amazing poems of Laura's experiences and reactions to nature. Kirkus Review wrote that her work is "understated, courageous, and deeply insightful." Of course she'll also answer questions about her writing process, her own favorite poets, and more. We'll have refreshments and hope that you can join us for this lively event. As with all programs at the Library, there's no cost.
