Debal Deb, India's premier seed saving scientist, will take us on an exploration of the conservation ethos of seed saving and ecoforestry on Tuesday, September 24, at 6:30 p.m. in the 1958 Room at Sterling College. The lecture will focus on agroecology and seed sovereignty, drawing from Deb's experience cultivating over 1000 varieties of rice in Niyamgiri hills of India. Enjoy the hour-long lecture and bring your questions for the Q+A session afterward. This event is free and open to the public with a suggested donation of $20 to support this and future programming.
This event was produced by the Sterling College Rian Fried Center's Global South Solidarity Series in collaboration with A Growing Culture. For more information, please visit: https://sterlingcollege.edu/news-room/debal-at-sterling-college/
