On Monday, April 7th, at 4pm Guilford Community Church will host Peter Sterling, who will discuss Single Payer Health Care in Vermont. Peter Sterling is the Executive Director of Vermont Leads: Single Payer Now, a non-profit organization working to help create the nation’s first universal publicly funded health care system in Vermont. Peter will do a presentation on the benefits of moving to a single payer system, barriers and the timeline for its creation. This event is co-sponsored by VT-PNHP (Vermont Chapter of Physicians for a National Health Program), Guilford Community Church, and Guilford Cares. The moderator will be Margaret Newton, MD, member of PNHP. Light refreshments will be served.

For those of you who cannot attend the 4pm meeting at Guilford Community Church, Peter will repeat the presentation the same evening, Monday, April 7th, at 7pm at The River Garden, 153 Main St, Brattleboro – sponsored by Vermont Wellness Education.
