Capital City Concerts and the Friends of the Vermont State House presents their final FREE noontime "meditation concert" in the Cedar Creek Room of the Vermont State House this Friday September 20 at noon. The free concerts give listeners the opportunity to experience world-class performances in a reflective way through 30-minute meditations to live music. This Friday's performer is Vermont cellist Emily Taubl. Educated at the Juilliard School, the Yale School of Music, and the New England Conservatory, she is principal cellist of the Springfield Symphony (MA) and teaches cello at the University of Vermont. Her concert will the J.S. Bach Suite No. 1 in G Major, BWV 1007 as well as works by Gaspar Cassadó and Paul Hindemith. For more info go to www.capitalcityconcerts.org
