Frustrated, Furious or Forlorn? Become part of a local movement to rid our country and VT of inhumane/illegal treatment of immigrants. Did you know that our VT dairy industry predominantly utilizes labor from immigrants? Many have been arrested, detained or deported. Did you know that there is an ICE call center in Williston that is responsible for directing country wide ICE/Border Patrol to the location of the detention centers for inhumane /concentration camp for arrested immigrants/asylum seekers/ separated families and children for an illegal length of time? We are facilitated by members of Peace + Justice Center and Migrant Justice to strategize for sustained actions and prepare educational programs and local ordinances . Come and join us to listen, learn and share your ideas, and not feel helpless in this dark period for our country. Meeting is held at the RAD center, 241 N Winooski Ave, dinner is served at 5:30.
