STORIES - MEMORIES - MUSIC - COMMUNITY
The next Memorable Times Café is on Wednesday, September 18th, at 1:30 PM in the Vermont Historical Society building, 60 Washington Street in Barre, Vermont.
The theme for the September Café is "School Days". Participants are invited to bring a yearbook or autograph album from their own school days. There will be music to go with the theme, and we may have "old school" artifacts from the Vermont Historical Society collection as well. We hope to see you there !

Memorable Times Café is a relaxed social time for people living with mild to moderate memory loss, and their care partners. A dementia-friendly community event, it is free and open to the public. Cafés are held on the third Wednesday of each month, from 1:30 to 3 PM, in the Community Room at the Vermont History Center, 60 Washington Street, in Barre. Memorable Times Café is sponsored by the Central Vermont Council on Aging in partnership with the ABLE Library of the Vermont Department of Libraries and area volunteers.
Participants enjoy social time and refreshments, as well as opportunities to share stories, music, movement and laughter. ABLE Library staff are available to facilitate access to "talking books" and other resources.
Please note that the Memory Café is not a drop-off or adult day care program. Each participant is expected to be accompanied by a care partner.
