NVU-Lyndon Atmospheric Sciences group, The Climate Consensus, is organizing a local climate strike and we hope you will join us. On September 20th, people around the world will walk out of their homes, schools and workplaces to demand climate change action to ensure a safe and healthy planet for our kids. You can learn more about this global movement at https://globalclimatestrike.net/. Please join us at 11:30am at NVU-Lyndon or anywhere along the march route. We will walk down College Rd to Center Street, circle around the town center and stop on the green at the corner of Broad and Depot Streets. Following some short presentations, we will march back up to NVU-Lyndon, chanting and singing along the way. Lyndonville Police are aware of this event and will be assisting our group at intersections and along the route.
