Have you seen posters and flyers for VT 2-1-1 and wondered what it is? Do you think it's just for parents of young children? Or just for senior citizens? Do you think "that's not for me"?
Well, it turns out that VT 2-1-1 is a free service from the United Way that provides callers (and texters and web visitors) with information about community organizations throughout the state.
On Thursday, September 12, Stacy Garcia de Alba from Windham County United Way will be visiting the Moore Free Library (at 6PM -- the paving should be done by then!) to talk about VT 2-1-1 and the other programs available for people of all ages through the United Way.
As always, the program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served, courtesy of the United Way.
