Come join us for the most delicious festival of the season - The Great Vermont Bread Festival! Saturday, September 7 is the day and Camp Meade at 961 Route 2, Middlesex (behind Red Hen) is the place - admission is FREE. Come one, come all for this celebration of all things BREAD!
What better way to start this beautiful event than with a french toast breakfast - 8am - 11am. An a la carte, pay for what you want breakfast, with french toast in a starring role (but eggs and sausage and bacon too)!
Bakers from your favorite bakeries will be here - talking, demonstrating, and baking in the brand new Camp Meade Community Oven. Vendors with the toppings that go ON and WITH bread will be sampling and selling their wares.
Bridgeside Books will be here with copies of books from your favorite local cooks and bakers, as well as other food books for sale - perhaps your favorite author will be here signing a book just for you.
Live music throughout the day beginning with Dark Star Project (9am); Linda Bassick (1pm, 4pm); Daniel Gaviria (3pm) are sure to fill your heart with joy.
The evening kicks off when special guests Lowell Thompson & Michael Chorney take the stage at 6pm and the fabulous Kat Wright closes out the show with a spirited performance beginning at 8pm
