I wanted to alert all of the athletes and families of the area to a fantastic charity bike ride/trail run event put on by my brother-in-law and sister at Sleepy Hollow Inn Ski & Bike Center, this year on September 8, 2019. There are several different lengths of bikes and runs for varying levels of abilities, as well as a great children's event which includes a bike ride, tie-dying a t-shirt and a kids yoga class (childcare is also provided while the adults ride or run). Full barbecue, drinks and dessert are also included with the registration fee and all proceeds go to fund research on an incredibly rare neurological disease, Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood.
