The 8th annual Chris Ludington Memorial Trail Walk or Run will be held Sunday September 15 at 9:00 A.M. at Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe. The Northern Vermont Ridge Runners and Trapp Family Lodge are sponsoring this event. Registration starts at 8:00 A.M. at the Trapp Family Lodge Outdoor Center Yurt. Everyone who entered the race will be eligible to win the season pass which has a value of $250.00.

Many people choose to walk. You have the choice of a 5K or 10K run or walk on the well maintained Trapp trails. The 5K is mostly flat and the 10K is hilly. Part of the race is on Chris' Run which is a beautiful trail named in memory of Chris who was known for putting in 100 plus skiing days on the Trapp hills. There are also prizes awarded for the overall and division winners. The entry fee is $20.00 on runreg.com until 5:00 PM Friday, September 13 and $25.00 on race day. All ages, levels of ability and interests are welcome and encouraged to participate. This is one of the most scenic events in Vermont so please check it out.
