Mark you calendars and get ready to give..... blood that is. Waterbury Fire Department will be hosting a blood drive on Wednesday September 11 at the Main Street Station. What better day to give blood than one that we will never forget, a day when so many first responders made the ultimate sacrifice and many other innocent people lost their lives. So whether you're in the fire service, law enforcement, EMS or just want to support a great cause please plan to roll up your sleeves and give blood. There is a blood shortage and with the potential for hurricane Dorian hitting the US, the need will only increase. The blood drive will be from Noon-6 PM on 9/11/19.
