The Lake Bomoseen Association is celebrating the end of the summer season with a Crock Pot Cookoff on Thursday September 26 from 6 to 8 at the Woodard Marine showroom on East Creek Road, Hydeville, VT. Cooks are encouraged to whip up their favorite crock pot meal and bring it for the rest of the attendees to taste and vote on the best by placing a small amount of money in the cup in front of each pot. For the non cookers in the crowd, you are asked to bring any kind of appetizer, salad, bread or dessert. Everyone should bring a chair and whatever you want to drink. As an added enjoyment Robert Wuagneux will be playing our favorite tunes. Friends and neighbors of Lake Bomoseen are all welcome to attend.
