Several people have purchased electric cars in our area. If you would like to know about these cars, here is an opportunity
The Vermont Chapter of the Sierra Club is very excited to announce Montpelier Drive Electric Day on Saturday, September 14th from 11am-2pm on the State House Lawn!
At the event, learn about how you can reduce both your carbon emissions and your transportation costs. Come out to do an Electric Vehicle (EV) walk down Governor Aiken Boulevard, where you can check out different EVs on the market today, ask questions of Vermont EV owners and test drive a few cars and electric bikes. Vermont Sierra Club members will also be there to talk more about the Chapter's Transportation Campaign.
We also need volunteers to assist with this event! If you're interested in not only learning more about EVs, but volunteering with the Sierra Club to make Drive Electric Day a success, please complete the volunteer survey. Event volunteers will be given a food voucher to Mediterranean Mix who will be serving from 11:00 am-2:00 pm.
For more information on the event and to RSVP, please see the Montpelier Drive Electric Day event page.
There will also be an event in White River Junction. For more information on this event, please visit the Upper Valley Electric Vehicle Expo page.
We hope to see you in Montpelier on September 14th!
