Hello Friends and Neighbors!
A group of local holistic health providers have formed to organize a Meetup group titled, Local Health/Global Impact. Each month a different practitioner will offer a presentation that addresses healthy and natural living. Our first presentation is this Thursday the 27th at The North Branch Cafe on State Street in Montpelier from 6-8 pm.
We will learn how to create an Herbal Tea Garden. This introductory class will focus on several easy to grow plants that offer medicinal qualities applicable to every day well being, add beauty to the garden, provide nectar for some of our pollinator friends, and make delicious beneficial teas. We will cover care for plants and how to grow them whether you have a large garden or a small pot on a sunny window. How to harvest, dry, and make tea with your herbs along with medicinal properties will be covered. Samples and handouts will be provided and participants will leave with some seeds to get started with. Materials Fee: $5
Our first presenter is Rebecca Dalgin, a graduate of VCIH’s Clinical Herbalist Training program and owner of a clinical herbal practice, Wild Heart Wellness, based in Plainfield, VT. Visit her at wildheartwellness.net.
