Join me and another Green Mountain Club staff moms and our little ones (ages 1 and almost 3) for an adventure on the Short Trail in Waterbury Center. We'll share our best hiking tips and enjoy the trail together. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy the picnic tables at GMC.
The Short Trail is an easy half-mile trail that is located behind the Green Mountain Club Visitor Center. Sneakers, sunscreen, water, and snacks are recommended.
This is a time for moms, dads, and caregivers to spend time outside and learn some tips about how to hike with little ones. We'll bring in our selection of carriers to show you options, discuss tips for when they want to start walking on their own, and how to create the best experience for everyone.
We will meet at the picnic tables behind the Green Mountain Club Visitor Center, which is located at 4711 Waterbury-Stowe Rd., Waterbury Center, VT 05677.
