The Chittenden Historical Society will be hosting Christine Hadsel, director of Curtains Without Borders, on Tuesday evening, Sept 10 at 7:00 PM at the North Chittenden Grange Hall, 3 Lower Middle Road.

She will present her program "Vermont's Historic Theater Curtains" about the 177 painted curtains that hung in venues around the state between 1880 and WWII. A culture of local variety shows and traveling, professional talent flourished in front of those curtains in some very remote Vermont communities.

Admission is free and the building is accessible to people with disabilities.
