Lake Raponda Invasive Aquatic Species Paddle

Past event
Aug 30, 2019, 8:45 to 11:30 AM

A Lake Raponda Watershed Invasive Aquatic Species Paddle will be led by Laurie Callahan, SE VT Aquatic Invasive Species Project Coordinator, this Friday, August 30, from 8:45 to 11:30 AM at the Vermont State Boat Launch area at the north end of Lake Raponda, i.e., next to the greeter shed (weather permitting only). We will be looking for invasive aquatic species to identify ... and hoping to find none! To join the paddle on what looks now to be a beautiful weather day, you must come with your non-motorized canoe, kayak or row boat (a few loaners are available by contacting Jack Widness: 464-8981). Bring polarized sun glasses for better viewing of water plants. To attend, sign up ahead of time using SignUpGenius (https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C094CAFA629A64-invasive).
