Please join us for a second Vision for Vermont (VfV) Summit on Saturday, September 14, from 9:30-4:00 at the Bread Loaf Campus in Ripton. The theme is "Raising Up Voices for a Vermont That Works for All."
Our morning session will feature a panel of diverse Vermonters including
Melody Brook, member of the Elnu Abenaki Tribe and educator, activist and artist
Jon Turner, U.S. Marine, Iraq War veteran, and farmer
Lisa Ryan, Program Manager of the Rutland County Community Justice Center
Brenda Churchill, Liaison to the State House for the LGBTQIA Alliance of Vermont
Moderated by Beatrice Parwatikar of Shoreham
After lunch, which will be provided, there will be small groups centered around topics of interest that emerge from the morning session. Following on the path of last year's first Vision for Vermont gathering, we will continue our work to create a common vision for Vermont's future.
