Essex Community member and co-founder of Aim4Haiti NPO, Gillian Compo is pleased to partner with and welcome to our local community Haitian artist, Pievy Polyte.
Pievy is a talented artist involved in an artists' collective that donates proceeds from their work to Haitian education projects.
Pievy is also a Haitian coffee farmer and strives to promote sustainable development in Haiti. Pievy's home grown coffee - roasted to perfection will be served at the Art show.
Gillian, is a Vermont Educator/School Nurse with an interest in Global Health, who partners directly with Haitian healthcare providers advocating for healthcare equity and independence.
Both Pievy and Gillian are involved with Haitian fairtrade sales, including; coffee, cocoa, handmade Haitian bags and sweetgrass baskets.
Art show and Coffee morning will be at Holy Family Parish Center, 28 Lincoln Street, Essex Junction on Sunday, 29th September from 11am - 2pm.
Haitian snacks will be also be served.
