Join us on Saturday, August 31st, join Burlington Parks, Recreation & Waterfront and UVM Athletics for a celebration of Girls in Sports!
At UVM's Moulton Winder Field from 1 - 4 pm we will be celebrating the extraordinary achievements in girls' and women's sports and the positive influence athletic participation brings to their lives. During the event, girls will have the opportunity to try a variety of fun athletic activities such as soccer team, field hockey, lacrosse, ice hockey, dance, cheer, track & field and more! We'll also have smoothie bikes running, giveaways like shirts to the first 50 kids, free food courtesy of Moe's, and a raffle for jerseys and UVM varsity tickets to different games.
Additionally, ALL attendees will get a ticket to the UVM Women's soccer game the following day (September 1) at 1 pm.

Burlington Girls in Sports is inspired by National Girls and Women in Sports Day. NGWSD recognizes the ongoing effort towards equality and access for women in sports and the nation's commitment to expand sport and participation opportunities for all girls and future generations. This event is geared towards all girls, including trans and gender non-conforming kids.
