The Burlington Area Lyme and Tick-borne disease Support Group will be hosting Dr Lauren Tessier on August 25th. Dr. Tessier is a Naturopathic Physician, licensed by the state of Vermont who specializes in treating illness stemming from mold exposure. Dr. Tessier's practice "Life After Mold", is New England's ONLY CIRS certified Naturopathic Medical practice; and Dr. Tessier takes pride that she is the ONLY CIRS certified Naturopathic Medical practice east of the Mississippi! Dr. Tessier is a national speaker. She has presented at numerous professional medical conferences- lecturing and training other physicians about the ins and outs of mold illness. Dr. Tessier is well known beyond her professional colleagues and has presented about mold illness via various outlets including podcasts, magazines and blogs. Dr. Tessier is the Vice President of ISEAI, the International Society for Environmentally Acquired Illness ( a nonprofit dedicated to training physicians so that they may better serve their patients suffering from environmentally acquired illness).

Her practice Life After Mold services patients suffering from multi-symptom, multi system illness, complicated by co-morbid conditions such as MCS, MCAS, and chronic infections- including Lyme & co infections, EBV, CMV, etc. Dr. Tessier operates two practice locations- one in Waterbury, Vermont and a satellite location in New York, New York.
