Qigong Weekend!!!
March 29th and 30th with Eleanor Kinsey at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center!
Saturday Classes -In the Tamarack classroom
- Introduction to Qigong Class I- 7:30- 9:00- Class consists of a guided meditation in which we visualize Qi flowing into our bodies, followed by Taoist stretching, and ends with the standing forms of Empty Force, Cloud Hands, Earth Hands, Around the World, and Push Hands. $7 for members, $14 for non-members
- Breath Empowerment- 9:30- 10:30- Experience this powerful breathing technique that leaves you vibrating with Qi energy like you have never felt before! Hyper-oxygenate your body, train your lungs to take fuller breaths that are smooth and connected, and feel yourself cleansed and peaceful. Bring a blanket if you like! (Eat lightly before!) $6 for members, $12 for non-members
Sunday Classes- In the Tamarack classroom
- 9-Breath Method Class- 7:30- 8:30- Learn two ways to perform the 9 Breath Method that fills you with Qi energy in less than 45 seconds. This class prepares you for Introduction to Qigong Class II and the 9-Breath Meditation Circle. (Eat lightly before.) $6 for members, $12 for non-members
- Introduction to Qigong Class II- 9:00- 10:30- Class begins with visualization/guided meditation, continues with Taoist Stretching, and ends with the slow-moving standing forms of Full-Body Cleansing, Drawing the Bow, Full-Body Spiraling, and finally, 9 Breath Method. (Advisable, though not required, to have taken the 9 Breath Method class or learned it previously.) $7 for members, $14 for non-members
- 9-Breath Meditation Circle- 11:00- 12:00- Take the 9-Breath Method to a higher level as we breathe together and send Qi energy to each other, our loved ones, the planet, and beyond. (Eat lightly before. Must have taken the 9 Breath Method class or learned the method previously.) $6 for members, $12 for non-members
