Stone Valley Arts Literary Open Mic will be held Friday, August 23 at 7:00 p.m. at Stone Valley Arts at Fox Hill. (145 East Main Street, old stone church across from Poultney High School). Poets, Storytellers, Spoken Word Artists in all genres are invited to perform your own original poems, slam pieces, classics, or other favorites. Several of our presenters have recently published new books of stories they previewed at SVA Open Mic! Come to perform, or just to be entertained. Bring a friend and enjoy our new air conditioning! Poet/Writer/Storyteller Burnham Holmes will be your host this month.

Bonus, Paintings by Solon are on exhibit in the gallery. Matt Solon's portraits and local landscapes are worth seeing! Paintings can be viewed before, during, and after the open mic. This event is free and open to all.
