Summer Music from Greensboro proudly presents the Maxwell Quartet, an award winning string quartet from Scotland hailed by The New York Times for their "charisma and sense of adventure" and "fierce tenderness." Their program will include Haydn's String Quartet in D Major, Op. 76 no.5, Debussy's String Quartet in G minor, Op. 10, Schubert's String Quartet No. 14 in D Minor, D. 810, Death and the Maiden, as well as a selection of traditional Scottish music. The concert is at the Greensboro United Church of Christ at 7:30 on Tuesday, August 20.
