Sunset for the Cure Event . - Friday, August 23rd
Ever wanted to watch an amazing sunset at the St. John's Club but you aren't a member? The club is open on Fridays to guests and all are welcome to help us during our fundraising event on August 23rd from 5pm - 9pm.
Not sure what the St John's Club is? Check out www.stjohnsclub.com. It offers one of the best spots to view the sunset each evening and is right on the water.
Team Road Warriors will be selling $1 raffle tickets to help our 3-day, 60-mile breast cancer walk fundraising efforts. Team Road Warriors is made up of three local members (Amy and Mimi Magyar, and Kim Nolan). Our other teammates are made up of folks that have walked with us year after year across the country. This year we are walking to support Breast Cancer Awareness in Seattle. And yes, we walk 60-miles in 3-days...20 a day. You may not want to join us for the walk, but how about supporting us in our fundraising efforts AND enjoy an evening on the lake?

Some of the raffle prizes include: a private plane ride for 2 during leaf peeping season and gift certificates from local restaurants and businesses including massages, bread for a year (thanks Great Harvest), art work, gelato and juice gift cards, comedy classes and tickets, snowboard lessons, gift baskets, resume assistance and a chance to stay in an Air B-N-B in the Jay Peak Area. And there will be a 50/50 raffle ticket (and you don't need to be there to win that either!!!)
And if you aren't able to make the event Friday the 23rd, contact me at takeaimer@yahoo.com to pre-purchase your raffle tickets and select where you'd like your raffle tickets to go, and you can still participate. We accept cash, checks, and credit card payments for the raffle tickets. ALL proceeds will go directly to the Susan G Komen fund.
