The Essex Selectboard (SB) is meeting on Monday, August 19 at 7 PM. The meeting will be held at ESSEX HIGH SCHOOL, 2 Educational Drive, Essex Junction. Please note the alternate meeting location. Here are some highlights from the agenda:

-Public to be heard.
-The SB will hold a public hearing on, and consider approving final passage of, new and revised provisions to Municipal Ordinance Chapter 6.08, Firearms, and Chapter 9.04, Parks.
-The SB will interview and consider appointing Elisabeth Coleman to the Conservation and Trails Committee.
-The SB will consider designating a voting delegate for the Vermont League of Cities & Towns annual business meeting.
-The SB will consider approving a notification form for outdoor shooting ranges.
-The SB will consider entering executive session to discuss a legal matter.
-The SB will consider approving the consent agenda, which includes minutes approval and check warrants.
