Wondering what to do this weekend? Here's a no-brainer:
Award-winning Haitian/Canadian performer, Wesli, and his seven-piece band are bringing their blend of Afrobeat, Haitian voudou and rara, reggae, and Latin grooves to the Mad River Valley on Saturday night.
It'll be a festival-like atmosphere, outside at Sugarhouse Soundworks at the Mad River Park off Airport Rd in Waitsfield/Fayston. There will be several large tents, so don't let an isolated chance of rain stop you from coming to enjoy the music, in addition to Grace's Tamales, Scout's Honor (Sweet Spot) Ice Cream Truck, and Lawson's Finest plus wine and soft drinks.
Gates open at 7pm for food and drink; Showtime is at 8pm.
