Hike with an Ecologist at Red Rocks Park

Past event
Aug 21, 2019, 9 to 11 AM

On August 21st, from 9 am - 11 am, join us for a special hike through Red Rocks Park with Eric Sorenson, a Community Ecologist with the Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife, as your guide. Learn more about the forest community found at Red Rocks, including how forests, like this one, could be managed. Please come with questions. This hike is part of a City effort to gather community-wide input on the management of our parks and natural areas. Children 13 years and younger are welcome to attend with a parent/guardian. If you plan on attending, please wear the appropriate clothing and footwear and bring your own bug spray.
